WELDON FARMER
Weldon Farmer passed away Sunday, January 14, 2007 at Heart Of The Ozarks Health Care Center in Ava, Missouri. At the age of 72 years, 2 months, and 11 days old. Weldon was born on November 3, 1934 in Ozark County, Missouri to Robert Russell Farmer and Belma (Swearengin) Farmer. On December 28, 1983 Weldon and Virginia were married in Leavenworth, Kansas. In 1997, Weldon retired from General Motors in Kansas City. Later moving back to Ozark County, Weldon and Virginia made their home in Thornfield. A member of the Hilltop Victory Chapel, Weldon is survived by his wife Virginia Farmer of the home in Thornfield, Missouri, son Charles Farmer of Willard, Missouri, daughter Cindy Daniels of Gainesville, Missouri, 3 step children Lee Tigue of Kansas City, Kansas, Debbie Parsley of Dallas, Texas, Jeannie Willis of Dallas, Texas, 5 grandchildren and 3 step grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Belma Farmer, and step daughter Virginia Ann McNeely.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, January 18, 2007, 10:00 am at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Gainesville, Missouri with Dale Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Thornfield Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Daniel Malone, Jack Steele, Steve Wocholtz, Lee Tigue, Larry Hunter, and Greg Donley. Honorary Pallbearers are Elvin Donley, Kris Daniels, and Monroe Swearengin.
