William Dean "Bill" Raines

Ozark, Missouri

William Dean Raines, 59 years, 6 months, 11 days old, passed away November 14, 2017 at his home with his family by his side.

Bill was born May 3, 1958 in Nashville, TN and came to live with William R. and Patricia Ann (Shubert) Raines in Monticello, KY until he was fifteen years old.  Then he came to live in Mansfield, MO with Paul and Wilma Raines and two cousins, Randy and Teresa.

He owned and operated his own construction and excavating company for many years.

Bill and Lora Marie Hampton were united in marriage on April 7, 1996 in Goodhope, MO.

Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, yard work and especially loved spending time with his wife, family and friends.

Bill was preceded in death by his dad and uncle, Paul Riley Raines.

Bill is survived by his wife, Lora, of the home, a son William Carmichael Raines, two sister-in-laws, Ginger and Ralph Alvard and LaVina Stacey, one brother-in-law, Anthony Shockey, five nieces, Ashley, Kristen, Jaelyn, Devin and Lexi, and two nephews, Steven and Lane and  a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Bill will be Friday, November 17, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.  in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-7:00 p.m.  Burial will be in the Goodhope cemetery.  Officiating will be Brother William James Smith and Brother John Bryce.  Memorials may be made to the family as a love offering.
