William (Bill) F. Legg

William Frances Legg the son of William George Legg and Margaret (Wuest) Legg was born June 5, 1940 in Chicago, IL and departed this life May 18, 210 at the age of 69 years 11 months and 13 days.
Bill was a resident of Springfield, Mo for the past years, moving there from Ava, MO. He was owner and operator of a radiator shop in Ava and was a former employee of B.N.F.S Railroad.
Bill enjoyed camping, fishing, bowling, watching drag racing and visiting with his family and friends.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Joella. He is survived by four sons, Rich & Kim Legg, Bill & Sheryl Legg, Ron Legg, and Tom Legg & Connie Burton, all of the state of Washington, one daughter, Sandy and Dave Evans, New Lenox, IL, two step-sons, Jeff and Craig Brown, nine grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, and a special friend, Shirley Smith, Springfield, MO. He is also survived by one sister, Marjorie LaBarge, Warrenville, IL and a brother, Robert and Janet Legg, Orland Park, IL and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, May 21, 2010 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO 5:00 to 6:00 P.M. with a Memorial service to follow with the Rev. Ronnie Pinckney officiating.
