William "Bill" Paull Knapp

Ava, Missouri

William Paul Knapp, 79 years, 4 months, 23 days old, passed peacefully to Heaven on June 22, 2021 at Cox Medical Center in Springfield, MO.

Bill was born January 27, 1942 in California to Lowell and Daisy                     Knapp.

In 1963 Bill and Sharon Altha Crockett were united in marriage at Eugene, OR, and were blessed with one son, Craig William Knapp, in 1969.

Bill was retired after operating his own flooring covering company and many years as a handyman. Bill was a strong Christian and had attended the Ava Assembly of God Church with his wife, Sharon. He enjoyed cooking, woodworking, operating his HAM radio, and being around friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Sharon in 2020.

Bill is survived by his son, Craig Knapp ( Tracy ) of Aurora, CO;  two granddaughters, Amber and Emily; two brothers:  Dave (Joyce) and Dean (Joanne), and one sister Karen.

Cremation services for Bill are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO. Memorial may be made to Ava Assembly of God Church.
