William Eutah Lakey

William Eutah Lakey was born Sept. 10, 1930 the son of William Elias Lakey and Alma Grace (Sharpton) Lakey and departed this life Sept. 18, 2007, in his home at the age of 77 years and 8 days.
Eutah was a resident of Douglas County, Missouri for most of his life. On Dec. 17, 1950 Eutah and Violet V. Stall were united in marriage in Douglas County, Missouri. Eutah and Violet were blessed with two daughters. Eutah was owner and operator of Lakey Construction Co.
Eutah attended the Dogwood Nazarene Church. He loved working and being with his family. He also enjoyed milking cows with his wife, Violet, hunting turkey and deer and being in the outdoors.
Eutah was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Hester Narramore. His survivors include his wife, Violet of the home, Ava, MO, two daughters and their spouses, Glyndora Oeltjen and Tim, Carthage, MO, Marilyn Aldridge and Charles, Sparta, MO, six grandchildren, Valerie, Melanie, David, Brad, Kyle and Erin, four great grandchildren, Austin, Will, Cheyanne, and Hannah, two brothers, Larry Clell Lakey, Aldrich, MO, Gary Lakey, Mtn. Grove, MO, one sister, Leota Blakey, Mission Viego, CA, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be Friday, Sept. 21, 2007, 10:00 A.M. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO, with Rev. Keith Lafferty and Rev. Michael Peebles officiating. Interment will follow in the Stillings Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 6:30 to 7:30 P.M. in the funeral home.
