William "Eddie" Scott

William "Eddie" Scott, 66 years, 3 months, 29 days old, passed away on August 30, 2017 at his home.

Eddie was born May 1, 1951 in Mtn. Grove, Mo to Francis "Bill" and Margaret Febe (Yocum) Scott.

Eddie joined the Navy after high school.

Eddie made his career as a vehicle mechanic.

Eddie was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, AMVETS and Eagles Club.

Eddie enjoyed fishing, watching football and tinkering on tractors and lawnmowers.

Eddie will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Francis Keen, Patsy Shafer and Pauline Scott.

Eddie is survived by his son, Micheal E. Olexo, three grandchildren, Lea Olexo, Jacob Coolidge and Kraygyn Miller, one sister, Mary Ann and husband, Bill Boyer, one brother, Bob Scott, one brother-in-law, Cliff Shafer and a host of other relatives and friends.

Cremation services for William are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO. Memorials may be made to the family as a love offering. The Family will have a memorial service at a later date.
