William "Bill" Lee Stanford, Jr.

William "Bill" Lee Stanford, Jr., 65 years, 4 months, 23 days old, passed to Heaven on August 2, 2016 at Ava Place in Ava, MO.
Bill was born March 9, 1951 in St. Joseph, Mo to William Lee and Margaret Lucille (DeLong) Stanford.
Bill graduated St. Joseph High School. After graduation he joined the United States Marine Corp.
Bill enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Mike Stanford.
Bill is survived by his brother, Scott Stanford, Theodosia, MO, his sister, Karen and Bob Brown, St. Joseph, MO and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Bill will be Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. in the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Springfield, MO with full military. Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
Memorials may be made to Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States.
