Wilma Klineline
Ava, MO

Wilma Etta Katherine Klineline, 90 years, 11 months, and 9 days old, passed to heaven on April 15, 2015, at Glendale Gardens in Springfield, MO.

Wilma was born May 6, 1924, in Mt. Zion community in Ava, MO to Ervin and Zella (Brixey) Grabeel. She graduated from Ava High School and received her teaching education at SMS (MSU) in Springfield, MO; and later received her Masters at Drury University.

Wilma was a lifelong resident of the Ava community.
On Oct. 2, 1942, Wilma and John Russell Klineline were united in marriage in Marshall, AR, and to this union three children were born.

Wilma was a retired American History High School Teacher from Ava High School. She taught 38 years. Wilma was also a Farmer and loved it! She and Russell enjoyed their days together on the farm working their cattle. She worked until her health started to decline. She also enjoyed golfing, spending time with her grandchildren, with Russell and attending church.
She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Ava.

Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Russell, her son, John and a son-in-law, Norval Scrivner.


Wilma is survived by two children, Jacqueline Scrivner, Springfield, MO; Joe & Becky Klineline, Ava, MO; and five grandchildren, Greg & Natalie Scrivner, Stockton, MO; and Leigh Ann & Rob Millinder, Kansas City, MO;
Chad & Amasa Klineline, Springfield, MO; Tyler & Kelsey Klineline, Rogersville, MO; and Abbie & Adam Wright, Springfield, MO; eight great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, a brother, Scollan & Beverly Grabeel, Oregon and other relatives and friends.


Funeral services for Wilma will be Monday, April 20, 2015, 10:00 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the Ava Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Oren Alcorn and Pastor Dick Bishop. Memorials may be made to Gideons or American Diabetes Assoc.
