Wilma J. Reynolds, 97 years, 11 months, and 16 days old, passed to Heaven on February 5, 2015 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare, Ava, MO with all her family by her side.
Wilma was born February 19, 1917 in Ava, MO to James Herbert and Florence Sell. She graduated from Ava High School and attended two years at Southwest Missouri State in Springfield, MO.
On Nov. 10, 1938 Wilma and Lloyd "Buss" Reynolds, Jr. were united in marriage in Ava, MO and to this union one daughter, Suzanne was born.
Wilma was a member of the Ava United Methodist Church.Wilma was a minister's wife and she was always there supporting and working in the church with her husband.The other churches they served and Pastored were; Schweitzer United Methodist Church in Springfield, Theodosia United Methodist Church, Theodosia, MO and the Ozark United Methodist Church, Ozark, MO. She loved and adored all her family, especially the grand, great and a great great grandson!
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lloyd "Buss" in 1998, son-in-law, Weldon Sanders, a twin sister, Lucille Gaston and sister, Rozema Powell.
Wilma is survived by a daughter, Suzanne Sanders, Ava, MO, two grandchildren, Susan Calhoun and husband, Matt, Branson, MO and Mark Sanders and wife, Ofelia, Ava, MO, three great grandchildren, Tyler "Biggs" Watterson, Trevor Watterson and Makenzie Watterson all of Ava, one great great grandson, ThomasWeldon Watterson, Ava, MO, one nephew, James Gaston, Colorado Springs, CO and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Wilma will be Monday, Feb. 9, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Ava United Methodist Church, Ava, MO with burial in the Ava Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 1:00 p.m. to service time in the church. Officiating will be Pastor Matt Kerner. Memorials may be made to Ava United Methodist Church. Service are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO.
