Wilma Mae Woolman, 96 years, 11 months, 12 days old, passed to Heaven January 2, 2017 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center in Ava, MO.
Mae was born January 19, 1920 in Omaha, AR to Johnny and Flora (Hicks) Wright.
Mae and William Walter Woolman were united in marriage February 21, 1938 at Hartville, MO and to this union six children were born.
Mae was a Christian and a member of the Victor Baptist Church in Anutt, MO. She enjoyed reading her Bible daily.
Mae enjoyed making cookies, donuts and divinity candy. She also enjoyed gardening and sewing. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Mae was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William (Bill) in 2005, one grandson, William Lloyd Woolman, one great-grandson, Clifford Woolman III, one great-great-grandson, Coal Hunter, three sisters, Minnie Anderson, Lola Graham, and Della Wright, three brothers, Roby Wright, Louie Wright and Jim Wright.
Mae is survived by her children, Paul and Abigail Woolman, Conroe, TX, June and Billy Case, Lecoma, MO, Clifford Woolman, Ava, MO, Katherine and Don Hartley, Columbia, MO, Billy Woolman, Lake Spring, MO and Betty and Robert Sprick, Hartville, MO, 25 grandchildren, 63 great-grand children, 64 great-great-grandchildren, one special niece, Diana Woolman, Springfield, MO and host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mae will be Friday, January 6, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the Yates Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 1-2:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel. Officiating will be Pastor Robert Roberts and Pastor Bobby Mathis. Memorials may be made to the Yates Cemetery.
