Zella Haynes

Ava, MO

Zella Haynes, 91 years, 10 months, 30 days old, passed away March 6, 2018 at Cox Medical Center South, Springfield, MO, with her family by her side.

Zella was born April 7, 1926 in Seymour, Missouri to Bill and Lucy (Bagsby) Cantrell.

Zella retired from Rawlings Sporting Goods in Ava and had also worked at Wal-Mart in Ozark, MO.  On July 16, 1943 Zella and Jess Willard Haynes were united in marriage at Ava, MO and they were blessed with five children. Zella was a Christian and had attended the Ava Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed going to church and loved to take her family out to dinner and be a host to family and friends!

Zella was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jess in 1985, three children, Billy, Sandra Lucille and Johnny Dean and several brothers and sisters.

Zella is survived by daughters, Phyllis Fourt and husband, Eddie, and Brenda Potter and husband, Ed, all of Springfield, MO, a granddaughter, Michelle Renee Cataldi and husband, Frank, one great granddaughter, Brittany and fiancé, Kyle, one great great grandson, Lincoln, and other extended relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Zella will be Sat. March 10, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO with Pastor Buddy Boyd officiating. Visitation will be Friday, March 9 ^th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in the Ellison Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Ellison Cemetery.
