Kenneth Wayne Turner,   85 years, 9 months, 27 days old, passed away on October 17, 2019 at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, MO.

Kenneth was born December 20, 1933 in Ava, MO to Rupert Joe and Helen (Hampton) Turner.

Kenneth was a U.S. Army Veteran.  He was a retired residential painter.

Kenneth enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors.  He also loved baseball.  He was known to his friends as "Cowboy".

He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Vicky Sheppard, and one brother, Rupert Lee Turner.

Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Thompson, Mtn. Grove, MO, six grandchildren, Bobby Sheese, Crystal Sheppard, Dustin Sheppard, Connie Vaughn, Billy Thompson, and Bradlee Thompson, three great-grandchildren, Jamie, Breanna, and Malichi, one brother, Neil Turner, and one sister, Glenda Johnson.

Memorial graveside services for Kenneth will be Friday, Oct. 25, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Ava Cemetery in Ava, MO. Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, Missouri. Officiating will be Rev. "Bud" Scherer.
