Kenneth Michael Young

Kenneth Michael Young, 70 years, 5 months, 22 days old, passed away on August 30, 2017 at his home.

Kenneth was born March 28, 1947 in Moberly, MO to Kenneth L. and Mabel Ruth (Smith) Young.

Kenneth was an Army Veteran stationed in Korea.

Kenneth enjoyed golfing, collecting golf clubs, fishing, hunting, basketball, a green thumb for rose bushes and watching the St. Louis Cardinals play. Ken was an entrepeneuer, owning multiple businesses throughout his career, he was driven by a strong work ethic.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents.

Kenneth is survived by four daughters, Alicia and Mark Young, Sarah and Bart Korman, Ellen and Scott McFeron and Meghan and Phillip Anciaux, eight grandchildren, four siblings, Linda Beamer, Steven Young, Phyllis Diane and Jessie Maldonado and Joseph Young and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A Graveside Memorial service for Kenneth will be Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Missouri State Veteran's Cemetery, Jacksonville, MO with full military honors.  Cremation services for Kenneth are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava.
